Mission

The mission of the Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of all residents, employees and visitors of the City of Spring Valley and surrounding areas from the adverse effects of fire, sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions caused by man and nature, in an efficient, professional and well trained manner. This shall be accomplished through fire prevention, fire training, public education, collaboration with regional fire associations and full use of available resources in the mitigation of all disasters, either natural or man-made.
